Here at Takatuka, our goal is to offer our guests a crazy, little paradise, unique on earth. Being a very creative team, we enjoy realizing our extraordinary, playful and colourful ideas, while building cozy and comfortable rooms and bungalows. Our goal is to serve our guests the best we can in an easy, friendly and happy atmosphere.

We were looking for a good name for our Resort, one that would portray the exotic, vivid and slightly crazy little world we are designing, we suddenly remembered an episode of a well-known children’s tale written by Astrid Lindgren: “Pipi in Taka-Tuka-Land”. This story recounts Pipi Longstocking’s wild and exciting escapades on the tropical island Taka-Tuka. We instantly liked the name, and the similarity of both our resort and the story was astonishing: colourful, playful and somewhat crazy.

Come and visit our modern and expertly equipped Takatuka PADI dive center. Besides diving and snorkeling, you can complement your holidays in the Philippines with amazing excursions. The luxuriant nature of the island of Negros invites dynamic guests to explore the region of Sipalay on foot and by public transportation.

Listen to the call of the jungle… and relax on the beachfront veranda of the Bongo Bongo room. Scan the horizon for wild animals and observe the glowing fireball sinking into the sea. Our Treasure room takes you back to the days of pirates and treasure hunters. Come aboard and set sail to find the hidden treasure. Getting there

Manila, the Capital of the Philippines, is the gateway to Negros Island. Four airlines with several flights a day are connecting the Capital with Bacolod or Dumaguete, the two biggest cities on Negros Island. From Bacolod or Dumaguete, guests can reach Sipalay by bus (~5 hrs.) or ask Takatuka to arrange a pick-up service, which shortens the travel time to ~3 hours.
