Moalboal means" bubbling steam" and a small town of approx 3000 farm and fisher folk on Cebu Island,89km south west of Cebu City. The ihabitants are laid back and friendly and the area is void of agresive hustlers and hawkers. Panagsama Beach which is part of Moalboal, is an old fishing village but now a very popular dive tourist area.

| Love's Lodge is a small,well maitained, family run resort located directly on the rocky beach of Panagsama.Elvi and Tata do a good job of overseeing the operation.There are
14 large rooms that are well furnished with a/c, bath with hot shower,and a balcony..
The 6 other rooms are smaller and have a fan and hot shower. |

Their Restaurant is built out over the sea with a good view of Tanon Strait,Pescador and Negros islands.There is an adequate choice of local fare with seafood specialites. |

Getting there:
From Cebu City you can reach Moalboal by taxi or bus in approximately 3 hours. From there you can go by Tricycle to Love's Lodge in Panagsama Beach. Of course,the best, easiest and most comfortable way is to let the Sea Explorers Head Office in Cebu organise the transport. |

HOUSEREEF
Directly in front of the Center is the housereef. It slopes down from one to twenty meters, with different coral blocks, sponges and sea anemones. The ideal place for training, fun and night dives and macro photography. Watch for the zubi devifish . |

PESCADOR
We can reach this highlight of this area in about fifteen minuts Its walls are a mass of overhangs,cracks crevices overgrown with black and whip corals,gorgonia, and sponges.What out for giant frogfish and SHARK! CATHEDRAL is an vertical ,open top funnel that you exit at 115 ft A thrilling dive for the more experianced diveS. |

SUNKEN ISLAND
The best place for early morning dives. Starts at a depth of about 24 and slopes down to 40 meters. Great diving with jack and other large fish-schools, lionfishes and Spanish dancers, sometimes sharks and big tunas. Always and Sometimes strong, current. A must dive for more advanced divers. Stay down a little longer-dive NITROX. |

TONGO POINT
It is an excellent spot for deep, as well as shallow dives. It goes down to 40 meters.Turtles are a common sight.Good varieties of corals and reef fish.Gentil,slow moving Whaleshark are occasionaly spotted here. |

| SAMPAGUITA
Sampaguita is a drop-off that goes down to 40 m. Along the wall there are many small caves that contain different spieces of grouper and overhangs that are full of soft corals.. This dive site is good for all levels.
TALISAY
Talisay is a drop-off, that bottoms out at a sandy slope at 40m. In a depth of 20 to 30m you can find a good variety of hard & soft corals,and sponges are everywhere. The shallows are good for locating small attractive crfitters, nudibranch, shrimp,crab and frogfish. |
