Our very regular guest (at least 3 times a year in Pura Vida) Gittan Noren from Sweden brought over Christmas-New Year her husband Thomas (Olle) and their daughter Fanny as well. Our long time friends and regular supporters at the Netherland diving fair Linda Goedhart and Jesus Campos Castellanos visited us at Dauin last December. Like every year if it gets autumn in Europe the name “Tauchsport Klose” appears on our guest schedule! Karin and Wolfgang accompanied a big group this time with fortunately many repeaters from Cabilao to Dauin and to Malapascua. It’s always a pleasure to have you with us. For two weeks a Swiss group of Scuba Viva dive center in Zurich area, under the guidance of Bruno Tuescher (managing director of Scuba Viva Zurich branch), went with us on a diving safari. They started in Moalboal with the highlight sardine run in Pescador, then as the second destination Dauin and last but not least they ended their trip in Cabilao. The French actor, Yves Rénier, well known as “Police Commissioner Moulin” in a French TV series, met his (and also our) long-standing travel agent Ziad Elzein of Key Largo together with his accountant, Michelle Renault. The Rueger family from Germany visited us as well for several times already. For this year’s holidays from the second half of April until beginning of May they chose Malapascua, Cabilao and Dauin-Dumaguete as their final destination. Not very long ago, son Matthias did his instructor course with us and was working with us for a couple of months in Siquijor. Meanwhile, he is as well an enthusiastic underwater photographer; please see a few sample pictures below.

Prominent visitor in Malapascua. The world-famous Swiss underwater photographer Kurt Amsler was diving with Sea Explorers in the course of one of the Big Fish Tours of Schoener Tauchen. It looks that he was able to take a few great shots of the thresher sharks!

On their Philippines round trip, the group of GerbAirtours under the guidance of Anita Gerber, stopped for two nights at Pura Vida. As well for the second time Edith and Heinz Kuepfer from Aqua-Sport Dive Center in Stetten, Switzerland, visited us with a group. The first two weeks they were on safari in Moalboal, Dauin and Cabilao and then they travelled for some extension days to Malapascua. CANADIAN DIVE SAFARI. Ian and Heather Herring, which stayed already with us in 2009, came on safari first half of February with some of their diving friends. They were starting in Moalboal, visited Dauin, Siquijor and ended their trip at Alona Beach.
